The Rose

The beautiful and natural rose is a symbol of love, unity and peace. A sacred symbol that has been used throughout history. The rose itself and rose tones are going to be very popular. You will see fabric roses and embellishments on shoes, accessories, and clothing, the symbol of the rose will be seen in art and pop culture. (Chanel showed roses patterned with its logos in its fall collection.)

Rose tones will also be trending as we move into 2012 from a true rose which is right between red and magenta, to the more warm rose color, an evolution of the coral that was so hot for spring/summer 2011. This is so easily translated to lip color and everyone can find a rose tone that matches their skin tone.
