I am so pleased to be offering this type of training here in Dallas. Currently there are no professional makeup artistry training facilities in the area that offer the kind of intense training one would receive in Los Angeles or New York. I believe that being able to study on one of the coasts is a tremendous experience, however we need to have the option here for those that cannot.
I am currently the only instructor and offer my 20 plus years of experience to my students. As a working makeup artist I have had the opportunity to grow my craft in a multitude of mediums.
In 1998 I wanted to be a makeup trainer and was given the chance to do so with a large cosmetic company. Unfortunately at that time in my life I realized that I would not be able to commit fully to the amount of travel that would be required. I felt that I had finally reached my "dream" and had to turn it down. Somewhere I knew that I would have the opportunity again. It has come now, 11 years later with these training courses and eventually a full scale school with a professional makeup supply store. I guess I needed to get that extra 11 years of experience to be able to realize my dream.
